Jerry Victor Flores, 51 of Floydada, passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018. Funeral Services are scheduled for 10 o' clock in the morning on Friday, July 6, 2018 at Gethsemane Baptist Church, 2110 W 10th St. in Plainview with Luis Luna, Pastor of Power of Praise Church in Lockney, officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Cemetery. Mr. Flores will lie in repose at Gethsemane Baptist Church beginning at 10 o' clock in the morning on Thursday, July 5 until 8:15 that evening. There will also be a Celebration of Life Service at 7 o' clock Thursday evening. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Jerry was born on September 26, 1966 to Jesse Velasquez and Anita Castillo in Plainview, TX. He attended Hale Center High School. Jerry enjoyed all types of landscaping projects. He was a loving son, brother and uncle who will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by one uncle: Joe Angel Flores.

Jerry is survived by his mother; three brothers: Simon, Ramiro Jr., and Fidel Castillo; one sister: Lupe Ortegon; six aunts: Catrina Quintero, Carolina Flores, Rosalinda Vargas, Beatrice Estrada, Sylvia Guerrero, and Teresa Gerhardt; four uncles: Paul, Alfredo, Juan, and Ramon Flores and numerous nieces and nephews.
