Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Hale Center Cemetery.

Jean was born on December 8, 1929 in Amherst Texas to Roe E. and Ora Lee (Wallace) Hogg. Jean married William "Bill" L. Ford on November 8, 1950 in Clovis NM. They were married for 37 years until his passing in May, 1987. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Halfway. She enjoyed working as a hospital cook as a pastry chef for many years.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; her parents; 1 brother and 3 sisters.

Those left to cherish her memory are one daughter, Debra Jean Bennight and former son in law, Wesley Bennight and wife Trish, all of Plainview. She is also survived by one sister, Emmie Russell of Olton.
