Sudan - James Williamson, age 75, passed away at his home in Sudan on Friday, June 4, 2021. Family services and cremation are under the direction of the Lemons Funeral Home of Plainview.

James was born November 2, 1945 in Idabel Oklahoma. His family moved to Anton Texas where he was raised and graduated high school in Anton Texas. Joining the US Army in 1963 and married Georgia May 28 1968 and they have been married for 53 years. James worked most of his life as a cotton ginner for several area gins. He loved raising goats and many other farm animals. Enjoyed fishing whenever he had a chance. He is survived by his wife Georgia, a son Michael Williamson of Sudan Texas, Daughter Sherry Williamson of Carlsbad New Mexico and another daughter Kimberly Anderson of Clovis New Mexico, James has 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
