Jackie Oden Stone, 77 of Plainview, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at her residence. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 19, 2024, in Parklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. A Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, March 18, 2024, at Lemons Funeral Home. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home in Plainview.

Jackie was born on July 28, 1946, in Plainview, Texas to Wayne Hamilton and Pearl Perry.  Jackie was a prison guard for TDCJ for many years. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church.

Jackie found her happy place working outside in her yard and believed everyone should be outside working on their yard. She loved to drink Dr. Pepper and collect salt and pepper shakers.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Bobby Stone, second husband, Kenneth Oden, her daughter, Misti Stone, father, Wayne Hamilton, her mother, Pearl Perry, her sister, Lorena Everheart,  her nephews: Stan and Adam Goode.

She is survived by her daughter, Tena Stone and fiancé, James Hunt of Plainview.
