Plainview-Ismael U. Garcia, 58, of Plainview, passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2014 in Lubbock Funeral service arrangements are under the personal care of Lemons Funeral Home. Mr. Garcia was born on May 25, 1955 in Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico to the late Antonio and Rosa (Urbina) Garcia. He married Guadalupe (Valdez), and she preceded him in death in 2007. Mr. Garcia loved to rodeo, sing, and he was an avid fan of the San Francisco Forty-Niners. He is preceded in death by his wife; sister Anita Hernandez; three brothers Raul Garcia, Oscar Garcia and Hilario Garcia and parents. Those left to cherish his memory are his two brothers; Hector and Artemio Garcia; three sisters; Ida Garcia, Sylvia Pantojan, and Rosa Montelongo He is also survived by one son; Ismael Garcia Jr., and two daughters; Rosmary and Jannett Garcia. Mr. Garcia also leaves behind five grandchildren.
