Isabel A. Pichardo, 78 of Lockney, passed away on Monday, July 12, 2021. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for 2:00PM on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Plainview with Father George Poonely officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Cemetery. A Rosary will be held at 6:30PM on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Lemons Memorial Chapel.  Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Isabel was born on March 29, 1943 in Uvalde, Texas to Cristoval and Anita (Hernandez) Aviles. She was raised in Batesville, Texas before moving to Edmonson, Texas in 1967 and then to Plainview in 1972. She was a certified medication aide, a hospice volunteer, a volunteer for Hale County drug and alcohol abuse, a member of the Police Citizens ACA and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Isabel is survived by two sons, Johnny Charo of Plainview and Andy Charo of Amarillo; three daughters, Anna Mancias of Texhoma, OK, Gloria Mendoza of Lorenzo, TX and Linda Charo of Plainview; two brothers, Gene Aviles of Palm Springs, CA and Joe Aviles of Plainview; one sister, Olivia Aviles of Plainview; eleven grandchildren; twenty five great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Yolanda Martinez and Hortencia Castillo and a grandbaby, Joel E. Tavarez.
