Iona Rogers, 88, of Plainview went to be with the Lord on January 16, 2014 in Lubbock, TX. Ms. Rogers was born on September 9, 1925 to the late Alvin and Pearl (Stevens) Price in Wellington TX. She married P.V. Rogers on August 13, 1972 in Plainview, TX. He preceded her in death on November 14, 1995. Ms. Rogers was a member of the First Baptist Church of Plainview, where she taught Sunday school. She worked for Prairie House for many years as a sitter, and was also a Pink Lady at Covenant Hospital of Plainview for 10 years. Ms. Rogers is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two brothers: R.L. Price and Irvin Price, two sisters Amarine Morgan and Margaret Dean. Those left to cherish her memory are one son; Norman Ray Sharp, of Lubbock, TX.; two daughters; Debra Barrett of Plainview, TX; Barbara Donaldson of Ft. Worth, TX. and a step-daughter Joyce Smith of Durant, OK. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Scott McPherson, Tiffany and Lance Draper, Crystal and James Carol, Melanie and Dan Mull, Ross and Tanoka Janezich, Paul and Rachel Janezich, Sam and Ashley Sharp, and Alyssa and Lex Clark. Ms. Rogers is also survived by her Great-Grandchildren; Austyn Ables, Baylee Ables, Dusty Grubbs, Zachary Janezich, Ashleigh Mull, Raegan Janezich, Alex Janezich, Stefani Janezich, Trey Clark, Darcey Carol, Robert Janezich, Remington Clark, and Nathan Carol.
