Inez C. Hernandez, 90 of Plainview, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2022, at her residence. The Viewing for Mrs. Hernandez will be at 4:00pm until 8:00pm, Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm, Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Trinity Life Church. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park. Funeral Services are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Inez was born on January 21, 1932, in Lytle, Texas to Isabel and Isidra (Bonilla) Castillo. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and was always cleaning. Inez loved spending time with her family and helped raise her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She always had a full house.

Inez is survived by two sons, Manuel and Mabel Hernandez and Mario and Jessica Martinez both of Plainview; four daughters, Esmeralda Cantu, Corina Espinosa, Dominga Maisonet all of Plainview and Deborah Martinez of Amarillo; one sister, Olegaria Maldonado of New Jersey; Sixteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Hernandez; and one son, Rudy Martinez, and many brothers and sisters.
