Herlinda G. Ponce, 80 of Plainview, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2023, at her residence. Family will have a visitation on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, from 4:00pm-8:00pm, with a Prayer Service beginning at 6:00pm at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Funeral Service will be at 2:00pm, Thursday, July 20, 2023, officiated by Pastor Antonio Granados, at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Plainview Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home in Plainview.

Herlinda G. Ponce was born on July 11, 1943, in Margaritas, Coahuila, Mexico to Juan Granados and Christina Gonzalez. She married Rodolfo Ponce in 1963 in Mexico.

Herlinda enjoyed visiting people and spreading the Gospel. She also loved sewing, baking, and most of all spending time with her family.

Herlinda is survived by her husband, Rodolfo Ponce; four daughters: Linda and Sam Urrutia, of Lubbock, TX, Janie and Manuel Soto, of Mesquite, TX, Raquel and Ricardo Arredondo, of Terrell, TX, and Maria Crestina and Orlando Perez, of Garland, TX; seven sons:  Mario and Cindy Ponce, of San Antonio, TX, Reynaldo and Silberia Ponce, of Altus, OK, Rudy Ponce, of Plainview, TX, Hector and Esmeralda Ponce, of Edinburg, TX, Samuell and Ayde Ponce, of Balch Springs, TX, Israel Ponce, of Dallas, TX, and Elias and Gisselle Ponce, of Terrell, TX, and ; four brothers: Antonio Granados, Reyes Granados, both of Altus, OK, Bernardo Granados, of Margaritas, Coahuila, Mexico, and Hervey Granados, of Odessa, TX; thirty grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Juan and Christina Granados; two sisters: Gerarda Rangel and Faustina Granados and three brothers: Rodolfo, Juan, and Ramon Granados.

Herlinda G. Ponce, de 80 años de Plainview, falleció el lunes 17 de julio de 2023 en su residencia. La familia tendrá una visita el miércoles 19 de julio de 2023, de 4:00 p.m. a 6:00 p.m., con un servicio de oración que comenzará a las 6:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m. en Lemons Memorial Chapel. El servicio fúnebre será a las 2:00 pm, el jueves 20 de julio de 2023, oficiado por el pastor Antonio Granados, en Lemons Memorial Chapel. El entierro seguirá en el cementerio de Plainview. Los arreglos funerarios se confían a la funeraria Lemons en Plainview.

Herlinda G. Ponce nació el 11 de julio de 1943, en Margaritas, Coahuila, México, hija de Juan Granados y Christina González. Se casó con Rodolfo Ponce en 1963 en México.

A Herlinda le gustaba visitar a la gente y difundir el Evangelio. También le encantaba coser, hornear y, sobre todo, pasar tiempo con su familia.

A Herlinda le sobreviven su esposo, Rodolfo Ponce; cuatro hijas: Linda y Sam Urrutia, de Lubbock, TX, Janie y Manuel Soto, de Mesquite, TX, Raquel y Ricardo Arredondo, de Terrell, TX, y María Crestina y Orlando Pérez, de Garland, TX; siete hijos: Mario y Cindy Ponce, de San Antonio, TX, Reynaldo y Silberia Ponce, de Altus, OK, Rudy Ponce, de Plainview, TX, Héctor y Esmeralda Ponce, de Edinburg, TX, Samuell y Ayde Ponce, de Balch Springs, TX,  Israel Ponce, de Dallas, TX, y Elias y Gisselle Ponce, de Terrell, TX, y ; cuatro hermanos: Antonio Granados, Reyes Granados, ambos de Altus, OK, Bernardo Granados, de Margaritas, Coahuila, México, y Hervey Granados, de Odessa, TX; treinta nietos y 16 bisnietos.

Le preceden en la muerte sus padres: Juan y Christina Granados; dos hermanas: Gerarda Rangel y Faustina Granados y tres hermanos: Rodolfo, Juan y Ramón Granados.
