Herb was a man devoted to his family. He married his wife Mary on December 21, 1968, in Plainview. He always placed her, and his children's wants and needs before his own. He worked long hours to provide for them as a Cargill truck driver for almost 50 years retiring in 2017. Family time was very important to him as well. His faith was the most important thing in his life, and he used his free time to serve the Lord and his beautiful family. He led by example and lived by the faith he so passionately told others about. He was always on the go with his wife who he referred to as "Hun". He especially loved his grandchildren making sure to cater to all of their needs. He had a generous heart and was passionate about helping others. He was blessed to have lived a long life and that he was always surrounded by his loving family and friends. Although life feels less certain in the absence of his steadfast faith and love, we find comfort in knowing he is now restored in heaven rejoicing with those who have gone before him.

Herb is preceded in death by his parents; Christina and Jesus; brother, Ramiro Marroquin; sisters, Juanita Escanuela, Nena Marroquin, and Angelica Marroquin; sons, Ricky Marroquin, Danny Marroquin, and Gilbert Pineda; and daughter, Deedee Marroquin.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Marroquin; sons, Jack Marroquin and Jessie Marroquin of Dallas, Herbert Marroquin of San Antonio, Jason Marroquin (Amy) of Lubbock, Randy Marroquin, and Bobby Pineda both of Plainview, and Steve Marroquin of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; daughters, Lisa Carlos of Goodyear, Arizona, Christina Espinoza (James), and Kaila Marroquin (Ruben Luna) both of Plainview; 1 brother, Balde Marroquin; sisters, Cristela Ramirez, Minda Montalvo, and Socorro Moralez; 25 grandchildren and 17 great- grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Traditions Health Hospice and also the kind expressions of sympathy. The love you have shown has given us great comfort during this difficult time. It is deeply appreciated and will forever be remembered by
