Guadalupe Reyes, 78 of Plainview, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, November 30, 2020 at Plainview Cemetery with Father Nahum Lopez officiating. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm Sunday, November 29, 2020 at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Guadalupe was born on October 20, 1942 in Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Emeterio and Mercedes Reyes. He married Florestela Romero on May 8, 1971 in Mexico. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

He is preceded in death by his parent and one brother, Santos Emeterio Reyes.

Guadalupe is survived by his wife: Florestela Reyes; four sons: Jose Reyes and wife Maria, Fidencio Reyes and wife Abigail, Eduardo Reyes and wife Brenda, Victor Reyes and wife Joy, all of Plainview; three daughters: Maria Hernandez and husband Maurilio of Plainview, Maria Guadalupe Bagley and husband Stephen of Lubbock, Julie Hernandez of Plainview.  He is also survived by two sisters: Hortencia Garcia of Roma, Texas and Maria Mercedes Reyes of Mexico.  Guadalupe was blessed with twenty-four grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren.
