Graveside Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 11, 2016 at Plainview Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home.

Jewel was born on October 21, 1921 in Ada, Oklahoma to Floyd and Edna (Mullins) Stone. She married Burton Eldor Myers in Stratford, Oklahoma on September 10, 1938 and they were married until his passing in May 1, 1987.
Jewel was a homemaker and enjoyed doing and caring for her family. Together, she and Burton raised three children. She attended the Assembly of God Church.

She was preceded in death by Burton, her husband of 49 years, one son, Deloy Myers of Quitaque; one granddaughter, April Montegue; two sons in law, Monte Stephens and Charles Hamner; six brothers, Ellis Stone, Cecil Stone, Nuel Stone, Glen Stone, Eueldean Stone and Loyd Stone; three sisters, Lenore Barnes, Exula Wadlow and Clara Freeman.

Survivors include two daughters, Wanda Thompson and husband Grant of Hugoton Kansas and Carol Hamner of Quitaque; one daughter in law, Kay Myers of Quitaque; one brother, Roy Stone and wife Sadie; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
