Gilberto "Nikkle" Hernandez Jr., 55 of Plainview, passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2021. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 in Plainview Cemetery with Father Bill Anton officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Gilbert was born on May 24, 1965 to Gilberto Hernandez Sr. and Ramona Bueno in Lockney, TX. Gilbert was a very friendly, fun loving person. He liked joking around and making everyone around him laugh. During his spare time, he fixed up bicycles and turned them into low rider bikes. Gilbert also repaired furniture, remodeled houses and was good at painting and decorating. He also enjoyed playing cards and loved riding motorcycles. Gilbert was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe church. He will be extremely missed by everyone who knew and dearly loved him.
