Genobeba Molina Gamez, 84 of Plainview, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023, in Lubbock. Visitation for Mrs. Gamez will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, beginning at 1:00pm until 8:00pm, with at 6:00pm Prayer Service at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm, Thursday, August 31, 2023, at Casa de Oracion in Plainview. Interment will follow in Plainview Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home.

Genobeba was born in Goliad, Texas on October 9, 1938, to Bernardo Perez and Andrea Montez Perez.

Genobeba enjoyed sewing, cooking, going to church, studying the bible, and spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bernardo and Andrea Perez; a daughter, Elvira Maldonado; a son, Felix Molina, Jr.; and a brother, Juan Perez.

Genobeba is survived by two daughters: Mary Molina of Plainview, and Josie Landeros of Lubbock; three brothers: Fidel Perez, David Perez and Hermilio Perez all of Plainview; three sisters: Ofelia Quintanilla, Felicita Benevidez, and Amelia Madrigal all of Plainview; eight grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
