Gema Escobar, 32 of Lockney, passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, October 15, 2021, at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in Lockney Cemetery. A Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday, October 14, 2021, at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Gema was born on April 10, 1989, in Edinburg, Texas. Gema was a loving mother, daughter, sister, Tia, niece and cousin to all her family. She loved her daughter with a passion, she was Gema's world. Gema had a love for her mommy like no other and her sisters were her best friends, whom she was always with. She had a heart of gold and had so much love for all her family, she was our one-of-a-kind Gem!

Gema graduated from Lockney High School in 2008. She worked at the local Dairy Queen where she loved her customers. She definitely left an impression on everyone she met. She will be greatly missed!

Gema is survived by one daughter, Cali Ann Ingram of Lockney; her mother and dad, Gloria Moya and Tony Felan of Lockney; two brothers, Slaton (Jessica) Moya of Indiana and Maclovio (Alicia) Escobar of Amarillo; two sisters, Vanessa (Michael) Lara and Daniela Moya both of Lockney and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by one brother, Vincent Escobar and her grandparents, Jose and Feliciana Moya.
