Francisco Javier "Paco" Arzate, 59 of Dodge City, Kansas passed away in Plainview, Texas on July 8, 2023. Service arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home in Plainview.

Francisco was born July 8, 1964, to Guillermo Arzate and Juliana Melendez in Rosales, Chihuahua, Mexico. He was united in marriage to Perla Magallanes in Rosales, Chihuahua, Mexico.

Francisco was a father of two sons and four daughters: Juliana, Morgan, Oscar, Lizbeth, Jasmin, and Yvette, and an amazing grandpa to nine grandchildren: Ella, Lucille, and Lynn Arzate, Bodhi Walker Arzate, Maddi Bee Arzate, Scarlett Alexandria Dunham, Tilly Inez Arzate, Yahir Leyva, Nathaly Leyva, Ariana Leyva, and Adalberto Magallanes, that will miss him very much. He enjoyed traveling, "hint him being a truck driver", the outdoors, loved riding horses, and spending time with the family.

Francisco is survived by his wife, Perla Magallanes, of Rosales, Chihuahua; son, Morgan G. Clay and daughter-in-law, Sierre Arzate of Anchorage, Alaska, Daughter, Juliana Elizabeth and son in law Devon Dunham of Great Falls, Montana, from his marriage. Son, Oscar Javier Arzate of Rosales, Chihuahua, Lizbeth Leyva of Phoenix, Arizona, Jasmin Leyva, of Phoenix, Arizona, Yvette Leyva, of Phoenix, Arizona, from his second marriage. Brothers: Guillermo and Maria Arzate, of Liberal Kansas, Jose Luis and Ana Arzate, of Dodge City Kansas, Manuel and Norma Arzate, of Fort Worth, Texas; Sisters: Rosa Maria and Sergio Luis Martinez of Durango, Durango, Mexico, Maria and Alejandro Casas of Garden City, Kansas, and Socorro Hernandez of Rosales, Chihuahua, Mexico.

He is preceded in death by his father, Guillermo Arzate, his mother, Juliana Melendez, and Nephew, Esteban Arzate.
