Florence Perry, 92 of Plainview, passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021. A Funeral Service is scheduled for 10:00 am on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Lemons Memorial Chapel with Pastor Bruce Gregory, Farmer's Branch Church of God, officiating. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm on Friday, June 11, 2021 at the funeral home. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Florence was born on October 5, 1928, in Childress, Texas to Nathaniel Macon and Ollie Alice (Luttrell) Bynum. She grew up and attended schools in Childress. She moved to Plainview in 1946. Florence married William Samuel Perry on December 28, 1946, in Abernathy, Texas. She graduated from Beauty School in 1976 and then attended and graduated from LVN Academy. She was an LVN for 23 years. Florence was an artist and loved cooking, sewing and art puzzles. She was a member of the Church of God for 61 years.

She is survived by two daughters, Rhea Nell (Richard) Dees and Sharon Briscoe both of Kress; eight grandchildren; many great and great great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband; two sons, David and Randy Perry; two brothers, William and Beecher Bynum; and six sisters, Vera Holland, Flora Kovar, Avis Kundysek, Mildred Harper, Kate Rasure and Audie Mae Cox.
