Flora A. Whitfield, born in Dill City, OK on July 9, 1933, to Claude Stevens and Orpha Agness King. She had three brothers, Erland Stevens, Claude Stevens Jr., and William A. Stevens. On October 7, 1951, she married Donald R. Whitfield, and they had three children together. The oldest is Don Keith Whitfield, born July 13, 1953, second born, Bettie Suzanne Wheeler, born November 4, 1959, and the youngest of the children is Donita Kaye Trout, born December 28, 1964. Donald and Flora both retired from working with the Federal Government Civil Service. Donald and Flora were married for 44 years before he passed from cancer. In Flora's free time she enjoyed traveling and collecting antiques. Flora lived most of her years in Bulverde, Texas on the property Donald and her purchased after they retired. On March 30, 2025, Flora was able to be at peace and went to be with Jesus. She will be buried next to her beloved husband in the Plainview Cemetery, located in Plainview, Texas on April 9, 2025, at 9:00 AM.

She is survived by her daughters, Bettie Suzanne Wheeler, Donita Kaye Trout, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by Claude (Father), Orpha (Mother), Erland, Claude Jr., and William (Brothers), Don (Husband), and Keith (Son).
