January 1, 1923 – November 19, 2013
Flora was born January 1, 1923 to John Thomas Bilbrey and Mary Lee (Tisdale) Bilbrey in Spur, Texas. Flora was a bus driver for the Plainview ISD, where she received many honors and awards. She was presented the Most Dependable Driver Award. She was was named the Best Female Driver, Best Attendance Record and Most Dedicated Driver. She also was given an award for having an outstanding Safety Record. The most dramatic changes Flora experienced were the changeover to automatic transmissions, power steering and air break. Flora loved to cook and when she did, she loved sharing with her friends and neighbors. One of her favorite dishes was her banana bread. Mrs. Boteler was a member of the Northside Baptist Church in Plainview for many years.
She is preceded in death by her husband; H.C. Boteler.
Flora is survived by one daughter. Iva Sanders and husband Curtis of Floydada, one son, Carl Boteler and wife Ingrid of Post, five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, two step great grandchildren, two sisters, Johnnie Willson of Post and Vera Fae Reece of Mansfield, Tx.
