Felipe Moralez, 67 of Lubbock, passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 am, Monday, May 17, 2021 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Bill Anton officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Cemetery. A Visitation will be held from 12pm to 5pm followed by a Rosary that will be recited at 6:00 pm, Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Felipe was born on August 23, 1953 in Plainview, Texas. He attended Plainview schools. He worked for the City of Plainview for 20 years before moving to Baytown, Texas and then to Lubbock, Texas.

Felipe is survived by one brother, Rafel Lopez, Jr. and fiancé Emelia P. Garza of Plainview; two sisters, Mary Lopez Ledesma of Lubbock and Elena Lopez Olivares of Pasadena, TX, and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by parents, Rafel Sr. and Celia (Campos) Lopez; four brothers, Faustino Lopez, Eusebio Lopez, Pete Lopez, Sr, and Juan Lopez; and grandmother, Florentina Lopez.
