Plainview - Felicitas Perez, age 74, passed away on April 30, 2023, in Lubbock. Viewing for Mrs. Perez will be on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at 4:00pm until 6:00pm, followed by a Holy Rosary being recited at 6:00pm at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00am, May 4, 2023, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Plainview Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home.

Fela was born on October 29, 1948, to Benjamin and Florentina Gonzalez in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico. She married Raymundo Perez in 1997. She enjoyed going to casinos, gardening, and cooking. She loved taking care of her family, especially her grandchildren. She was involved with the church and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church for many years.

Those left to cherish her memory are her four sons: Lupe and wife Rubi Perez of Canyon, Texas, Ben Perez of Lubbock, Texas, James Perez of Muleshoe, Texas and Ray Perez of Arizona; three daughters: Rocio Perez of Plainview, Texas, Imelda Perez of Lubbock, Texas and Angie Perez of Bovina, Texas; thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Fela is preceded in death by her husband, Raymundo Perez, and her parents, Benjamin, and Florentina Gonzalez.
