Evangeline Preciado, 57, of Hale Center passed away September 1, 2017 in Hale Center.
She was born March 21, 1960 to Tefilo and Estella (Roybal) Vargas in Clayton, NM.
Evangeline was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Diana Vargas, 2 brothers and a sister.
Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her sons, Johnny Salazar and wife, Rose of Plainview, TX, Joseph Salazar and wife, June of Levelland, TX, Gustavo Preciado and Antonio Preciado of Albuquerque, NM and Santos Preciado of Las Lunas, NM; 2 sisters, Helen Garcia and Rose Apodaca of Tucumcari, NM; 8 grandchildren Romeo Salazar, Dezire Salazar, Kimberly Salazar, Jonathan Salazar, Jeremiah Salazar, Jayden Salazar, Jason Salazar and Meraya Preciado.
Cremation services are pending with Lemons Funeral Home. The family will hold memorial services at a later date.
