Obituary

Eulalio "Lalo" Treviño, 91, of Plainview, passed away on February 11, 2017.

A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Templo Sinai.  Interment will follow at Plainview Memorial Park.

There will be a prayer service held at 6:00 p.m. tonight, February 13, 2017.

Eulalio was born October 10, 1925 in Alice, Texas.  He made his way to West Texas as a very young boy to work with friends.  He married Marcelina Contreras in 1970.  They remained married until she passed away on October 17, 2000.

Lalo spent many years selling his goods at the Flea Market on Columbia.  He was well known by many as a kind man.  He spent hours upon hours at work and enjoyed the interaction with the public.   When he wasn't at work, he spent his time watching old time Westerns on television.  His favorites were Bonanza, Gunsmoke and Big Valley.  He was a loving father, stepfather and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved bride, Marcelina; two sons, Joaquin Lopez, Jr. and Alejandro Reyes; two brothers and one sister.

Those left to cherish his memory are three daughters, Andrea Esparza and husband Albert of Clovis, NM, Delia Marroquin and husband Trinny and Viola Foster and husband Jeremy all of Plainview; three sons,  Bobby Reyes, Elbardo Treviño and wife Zoila and Johnny Treviño, all of Plainview; 24 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
