Esmeralda Delgado, 52, of Plainview, passed away on August 25, 2020. A Private Funeral Mass was held Friday, August 28. 2020 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Bill Anton celebrating. Burial was held at Plainview Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Esmeralda was born on December 6, 1967 in Lubbock, Texas to Tomas and Elisa (Lopez) Delgado. She worked for Walmart as a manager for many years. She enjoyed shopping and was very creative with crafts. Esmeralda was a humble woman who loved her family and her pets, especially her dog, Princess.

She is survived by her husband, Moises Santiago of Plainview; two sons, Alexander Ray Santiago (Maria Villarreal) and Omar Anthony Santiago both of Plainview; one daughter, Mercedes Marisela Santiago of Plainview; her mother, Elisa Delgado of Floydada; four brothers, Arturo Delgado of Petersburg, Ismael Delgado of Floydada, Eulalio Delgado of Floydada and Tomas Delgado, Jr. of Hobbs, N.M.; two sisters, Adelaida Saucedo of Corpus Christi and Elisa Suarez of Austin. She is preceded in death by her father, Tomas Delgado.
