Obituary
Ernest Ruiz, 53 of Plainview, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2020. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 1:00PM at Lemons Memorial Chapel in Plainview, Texas.
Ernest was born on January 18, 1967 to Servando and Celestina Ruiz in Crystal City, Texas. He graduated from Plainview High School in 1985. He was a welder and loved working on hot rods. He also enjoyed camping and fishing.
Ernest is survived by one son, Nicolas Ruiz of Plainview; two daughters, Katie Rogers and husband Andy of Brownfield and Brittney Aviles and husband Nicholas of Plainview; his parents, Servando and Celestina Ruiz of Plainview; one brother, Rafael Ruiz of Plainview and four grandchildren, Kayden and Maycee Rogers and Jaxson and Landon Aviles.
