Eloy V. Farias, JR., 61 of Plainview, passed away on December 22, 2020.  A Graveside Service is scheduled for 10:30 am on Thursday, December 24, 2020 in Plainview Cemetery.  Mr. Farias will lie in repose on Thursday from 8-10 o' clock in the morning at the funeral home.  Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Eloy graduated from Planview High School in 1977 and enlisted in the United States Army on June 16,1977. He served in Germany for three years and reenlisted for another three years before being honorably discharged.

He is preceded in death by his father: Eloy Farias, Sr., mother: Isabel "Nina" Farias, two brothers: Roger and Rudy Farias; and one sister: Mary Deleon Burnett.

Eloy is survived by his wife: Florestela of the home; two daughters: Marie Farias Lee of Denver and Lucero Ramirez of Plainview; three brothers: Charlie Farias of Tennessee, Jackie Farias of Plainview and Christopher Farias of Bentonville, AR; one sister: Yvonne Peña of Plainview; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
