Eloy Farias Sr., 73, of Plainview passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 in Plainview, TX. A rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2014 in Lemons Memorial Chapel. Services will be held on Friday, April 11, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Plainview. Interment will follow in Plainview Cemetery under the personal care of Lemons Funeral Home. Mr. Farias was born on April 19, 1941 in New Braunfels TX. He married Isabel Farias on September 1, 1958 in Plainview, TX. She preceded him in death on March 30, 2014. Mr. Farias was known for his hard work ethic; he especially loved working in the yard. He was an avid fan of boxing and wrestling, but most of all he had a love for his grandchildren and life itself. He is preceded in death by his wife, one sister; Corina Farias; and two sons Roger and Rudy Farias. Survivors include, four sons; Eloy Jr., Charlie, Jackie, and Christopher Farias, two daughters; Mary Burnett, and Yvonne Pena, and one brother, Juan Alfredo Farias.
