Elida Estrada, 83 of Plainview, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025, at her residence. Viewing and Funeral Service will be held at Lemons Memorial Chapel. A viewing will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at 4:00pm-8:00pm. Funeral Service for Mrs. Estrada will be Friday, April 25, 2025, at 10:00am. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home in Plainview.

Elida was born on March 21, 1942, in Robstown, Texas to Elias and Refugia Felan Trevino. She married Eulalio H. Estrada on October 12, 1959. They moved to Plainview in 1969, where they raised all five children. They were married for fifty-seven years until his passing in 2016.

Elida was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed listening to music and making quilts. All of her grandchildren have a quilt that she made for them,

She is preceded in death by her husband, Eulalio H. Estrada; four daughters: Rebeca, Lydia, Esmeralda, and Suzanna Estrada; her parents, Elias an Refugia Trevino; one son-in-law, Rufus Olvera; two brothers and six sisters.

Five daughters survive Elida: Dalia Olvera of San Angelo, Sara and Steve Garza of Houston, Criselda Molina of Plainview, Rachel Martinez of Lubbock, and Carol and Jackie Edwards of Plainview; eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
