Doris Ledbetter, age 82, passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2018. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church in Floydada, Texas. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Floydada. Services are conducted under the personal care of Lemons Funeral Home in Plainview.

Doris loved to cook, sing and dance. She enjoyed her time with her beloved cat, Silver.
Doris was born May 31, 1935 to Rosevelt and Vastie Reese in Henderson, Texas.  She later relocated to West Texas and Married the late George Ledbetter Jr.  Together they had two infant sons; both are deceased.  They also had five daughters; Dorothy Coleman, Jerlean Ledbetter and Venita Glenn, all of Floydada and Voretta Bolton and Yolanda Ramon of Plainview.
She was preceeded in death by her husband, George Jr., her parents and a sister Rosie Jones.
Doris leaves behind her five girls to treasure her memory along with many grandchildren and other family and friends.
