He enjoyed "taking care of bad guys" and all things zombies, such as zombie video games and the hit TV show The Walking Dead. His Gamertag was BigMagnum 007.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Celestina Asebedo Ybarra, his sister, Valentina Granados, his children and their families: Fred Ybarra and his wife, Olga Ybarra, Sally Ann Esquivel and her husband, Alonzo Esquivel, Joe Ybarra and his wife, Jeong Mi Ybarra, and his youngest son, Rodney Ybarra.
