Plainview-Dixie Aretia Jackson, 29, of Plainview, passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2014. A celebration of life service will be held Thursday, August, 28, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in Lemons Memorial Chapel in Plainview, with Brother Steve Martin officiating. Interment will follow the service in Plainview Cemetery. Funeral service arrangements are under the personal care of Lemons Funeral Home. Mrs. Jackson was born on March 2, 1985 in Lubbock, TX. to Billy Runnels and Jeannie Naiman. She married Cayce Jackson on July 28, 2012 in Tulia, TX. She attended Parkview Baptist Church. Dixie loved working with horses, she never met a stranger, and would help anyone that was in need of help. She was also very free spirited, and independent. Most of all Dixie cherished her family with all her heart, and was a very devoted mother and wife. Those left to cherish her memory are her parents; Billy Runnels and Jeannie Naiman, husband; Cayce Jackson, three sons; Zachary Masten, Travis Collin, Aiden Staggs, and one daughter Ariana Delynn Jackson. She is also survived by her grandparents; Rita Cannon and Albert Fergerson, Sammy Runnels and Mary Runnels, as well as two brothers; James Smith, and Dustin Runnels, and two sisters; Sherrie Crosby, and Dorothy LaMaster.
