Devin Rodriguez, a beloved husband, father, son, brother-in-law, uncle, grandson, and nephew, passed away at the age of 34, on January 26, 2026, in Odessa, Texas. Devin was born on Aug 12, 1991, in Lubbock, Texas to David and Connie Rodriguez. A memorial service for Mr. Rodriguez will be held at 11:00am, Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Memorial service is under the care of Lemons Funeral Home in Plainview.

After a month of talking over the phone, Devin finally met Eliza Gonzales on January 1, 2019, on their first date. Four days later, on January 5, 2019, he asked her to be his girlfriend and from that day forward they shared seven years of love, laughter, and happiness.

Devin enjoyed riding his Harley, cooking out, playing pool, and trying new restaurants, he was definitely a foodie. He was a man of many traits that could do it all, if someone needed help with a vehicle, a broken board, or putting up a ceiling fan, he was always willing to help and lend a helping hand. Devin also loved dancing to country music and making people laugh, he was the life of the party everywhere he went.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Willie and Olga Rodriquez, his maternal grandfather, Refugio Vasquez, and his uncle, Adam Rodriguez.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Eliza Gonzales of Plainview; his three children, Drake of Plainview, and Anaya and Alijah of Hobbs, New Mexico; his parents, David and Connie Rodriguez of Lubbock; his three step-children, Jaelyn and Michael of Plainview, and Malachi of Clovis, New Mexico; his sisters, Audrie Rockwell of Plainview, and Amber Rodriguez of Hobbs, New Mexico; his grandmother, Paulina Vasquez; four nieces and six nephews; and his brothers-in-law, Paul, Edward, James, and Fernando, who loved him, as all his family and friends did.
