Delia D. Gonzales, 80 of Plainview, passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2021. Graveside Service for Mrs. Gonzales will be held at 11:00AM, Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Plainview Memorial Park in Plainview.  Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

D.D. was born on November 21, 1940, in Brownsville, Texas to Enrique Tavares and Clara Hernandez. She was a waitress and a cook for many years. She enjoyed making jewelry, gardening and loved her roses.

D.D. is survived by two daughters, Florestela Gonzales of Plainview and Maribel (Noe) Gonzales of Tulia; her lifelong partner, Francisco Alvarado of Plainview; one brother, Jesus Hernandez of Plainview; four grandchildren, five great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Clara H. Cavazos; one granddaughter, Natalia Ramirez and one brother, Joe Cavazos.
