Dean was born on May 23, 1938 to James Robert and Ethel Mae Browdy in Hominy, Ok. Dean married the love of her life, Johnny Westmoreland, and they shared a happy life for more than sixty-three years. Johnny preceded her in death on March 2, 2000. Dean was a devoted homemaker who cherished every moment she spent with her family. Some of her favorite past times were crocheting, fishing and feeding all her cats that she adored. Above all, Dean was a woman of God. She taught Sunday School for many years, volunteered at the church whenever possible and enjoyed spending time in the word of God. Dean was a member of United Assembly of God for forty-two years and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; ten siblings and one daughter-in-law: Polly Westmoreland.

Dean is survived by four sons: Frank Westmoreland and wife Dawn of Abernathy, Eddie Dean, Donald Ray, and Roger Dale Westmoreland and fiancé Elizabeth Villegas all of Plainview; one daughter: Sharon Mae Westmoreland of Plainview; one brother: Bobby Brawdy; two sisters: Stella Kitchel and Roberta Mae Niccum; thirteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
