David Sanchez, 74 of Plainview, passed away on May 31, 2024. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, June 14, 2024, at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Cremation services are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home in Plainview.

David was born on June 1, 1949, in Anson, Texas to Francisco Sanchez and Juanita (Rodriguez) Sanchez. He worked as a farmer throughout his life.

David had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening as well as collecting miniature tractors. He also enjoyed woodwork and watching the Dallas Cowboys.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Maria Sanchez, his parents, Francisco and Juanita Sanchez, and one sister, Mary Herrera.

David is survived by one son, Oscar Molinar (Melissa) of Plainview, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; four brothers: Raul Sanchez (Maria) of Fort Worth, Texas, Roy Sanchez (Bonnie) of El Paso, Texas, Ray Sanchez (Margie) of Plainview, Texas, and Ramiro Sanchez (Kathy) of San Antonio, Texas.
