Daniel Pena, 57 of Plainview, Texas, passed away February 8, 2026. Daniel was born February 21, 1967, in Plainview, Texas, and graduated in 1985.

Daniel married Donna on October 5, 1993, they were long-time spouses for 31 years; they remained close despite their separation. He was a devoted son to Tellis and Mary Pena, who have preceded him in death, and a cherished brother to Johnny Pena (deceased) and Richard Pena of Harlingen, Texas.

For more than three decades, Daniel worked as a route driver, bringing his steady work ethic to Coca-Cola, Sara Lee Bread Company, Tom’s Snacks, and Smithfield Foods. He found joy outdoors, especially hunting deer and quail, often on his ranch in Matador, where family and friends could count on his patient guidance and quiet humor.

Survivors include Donna Pena (ex-spouse), Richard Pena of Harlingen,Texas, and many extended family members and friends who will miss his steady presence and warm smile. Services were held February 20, 2026, in Harlingen, Texas, at Garza Funeral Home, with burial at Ashland Memorial in Harlingen. A Celebration of life will be held in Plainview, Texas, on March 21, 2026, at the Elks Lodge from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
