Cristina Stevenson, 80 of Plainview, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2023. Viewing will be at 2:00pm until 8:00pm, Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Funeral Service will be at 2:00pm, Friday, February 24, 2023, at Outreach Christian Fellowship Church with Pastors Miguel and Brenda Mendoza officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Cristina was born on October 27, 1942, in Weslaco, Texas to Nicasio and Refugia (Arredondo) Felix. She married Marvin Stevenson on July 1, 1969, in Dickens County.

Cristina enjoyed thrift shopping at Goodwill any time she could go. She loved cooking a nice home cooked meal for all her kids, going out to eat, and having her hair dyed and her nails done in her favorite color, red. Cristina loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She would always say that she loved them so much and she wanted to see all her babies grow. She was feisty and was someone who would always say what was on her mind as well as a firm believer in discipline. Everyone that knew her called her Abuelita.

Cristina is survived by three sons, Juan Carreras of Plainview, Felix Ochoa (Melanie) of Arlington, and Michael Ledesma (Yolanda) of Lubbock; three daughters, Celia De Los Reyes (Andy) of Spur, Gloria Montalvo of Plainview, and Charline Ochoa (Raymond Vargas) of Lubbock; one sister, Maria Nicasia Felix of Plainview; twenty-two grandchildren and forty-four great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her puppy, Chilis who was her "baby."

She is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Stevenson and one daughter, Esmeralda Carreras.
