Obituary
Craig Scott, 50 of Plainview Texas, but recently living in Iowa, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2019 in Lubbock Texas while visiting his family. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 11 o' clock in the morning on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Parklawn Memorial Gardens. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.
Craig was born on March 23, 1969 to Dearl and Merline Scott in Plainview, TX. He was such a people person and loved to make people laugh. Craig always made sure to call his daughters multiple times a day. Above all, he cherished every moment he spent with his mother and worried about and loved her very much. He was the life of the party any where he went. Craig was a member of the Assembly of God and will be dearly missed.
Craig is survived by his mother Merline Scott of Lubbock, his 3 children: Daughter Cecillie and Christopher Vinson and their children: Owen and Nietzea of Nauvoo, Illinois, Daughter Katrina and Derek Tilly and their children Carsen and Adalynn of Hamilton Illinois, Son Chandler Scott of Austin Texas. Sister Linda Smothermon of Lubbock, Niece Jennifer Soliz and Max Pena and great nieces Ariel Soliz and Victoria Crowder and great nephew Cain Pena all of Lubbock and many other cousins, aunts, and friends.
