Plainview-Consuelo (Martinez) Soliz, 87, of Plainview, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2015. A celebration of Christian Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, January 19, 2015 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Ramundo Manríquez officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the personal care of Lemons Funeral Home. Rosary will be recited on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at 6 p.m. in Lemons Memorial Chapel. She was born on September 25, 1927 to the late Pedro and Isaura Martinez. Mrs. Soliz married Paul Soliz on January 20, 1950 in Clovis, New Mexico. She spent her life taking care of her family as a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her parents; Pedro and Isaura, her husband; Paul, one son Daniel Soliz, and a brother; Thomas Martinez. Those left to cherish her memory are five sons; Antonio Soliz, Raynaldo Soliz, Baldomero Soliz, Jesse Soliz, Richard Soliz, one daughter Sylvia Crowder and one sister; Dora Gonzales.
