Conchita S. Flores, 69, of Hale Center passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2024. A Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Lemons Memorial Chapel with burial following in Hale Center Cemetery in Hale Center. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lemons Memorial Chapel. Funeral Services are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home in Plainview.

Conchita was born on August 28, 1955, to Israel Salinas and Ascension Acevedo in Harlingen, Texas. She married the love of her life, Guadalupe Flores on May 14, 1973, in Hale Center, Texas.

Conchita was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed watching WWE with her grandson. She also loved her Tejano music, more than anything, she enjoyed spending time with her family. Her family was her entire world, and she always made sure her family knew how much she loved each and every one of them.

Conchita is survived by her husband, Guadalupe Flores; her sons, Guadalupe Flores Jr. and wife Karen of Hale Center, Texas, Jaime Flores and wife Janie of Cotton Center, Texas, Fabian Flores and wife Diane of Levelland, Texas, and Zachary Flores and wife Brittany of Hale Center, Texas; one daughter, Mary Ann Quintero of Lubbock, Texas; grandchildren, Marissa Flores and husband Juan Gallegos of Olton, Texas, Trinity Amaya, Maleena Amaya, Aiden Flores, Armani Flores, Addysyn Flores, Amari Flores, Leeanndra Hernandez, Andy Aguilar, Angelica Aguilar, Felicity Ramon, Valerie West, Brenden Fuentes, Robert Rodriguez, Anthony Garcia, Annie, Fox and Thomas Mendez; and multiple great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Israel Salinas and Ascension Acevedo; one sister, Florence Acosta; two brothers, Israel Salinas, and Augustine Salinas; two sons in laws, Ruben Amaya, and Anthony Quintero; her mother-in-law, Zulema V. Flores, and her brother-in-law, Raul Flores.
