Plainview-Clovis Marie Steiwig, 88, of Plainview, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, June 24, 2014. She was born on March 26, 1926 in Turkey, TX to the late Claude John and Nettie (Shugart) Tyler. She married Guy W. Steiwig on May 21, 1945 in Plainview, TX. Mrs. Steiwig was a very devout Jehova Wittness, she loved sewing and making clothes, but her biggest passion in life were her grandkids, and family. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers, and two sisters. Those left to cherish her memory are; four sons; Gary of Smithville, TX, Montie of Lubbock, TX, Mark of Lubbock, TX, Randy of Austin, TX, and one daughter; Marsha Yarbrough of Plainview, TX. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Steiwig also leaves behind one brother, and two sisters.
