A rosary will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Lemons Memorial Chapel, 206 W.8th St. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Plainview. Interment will follow at Plainview Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home.

Christina Hernandez was born on April 28, 1972 to Marcos and Delfina (Gomez) Hernandez. She attended Plainview High School and obtained a B.S. in Criminal Justice from American Intercontinental University.

Christina was an avid reader and especially enjoyed romance novels. She also enjoyed police shows and watching WWE. She loved crocheting and was very creative. She was sentimental and had great faith and has been described as a wonderful, loving mom, daughter and sister. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Delfina Hernandez.

Survivors include her beloved son, Ryan Hernandez of Plainview; her father, Marcos Hernandez of Plainview and her brother, Marcos Hernandez, Jr. of San Diego, CA.
