Chris Lopez, 55 of Plainview, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2023. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Chris was born in Lamesa, Texas to Frank Samora and Luisa Lopez on December 19, 1967.

Chris is survived by his five children: Krystal and husband Jason Buhler of Wichita Falls, Texas, Jacob Hernandez of Lubbock, Texas, Christian "CJ" Lopez of Plainview, Texas, Sara Lopez of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Manuel Lopez of Lubbock, Texas, and 14 grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father, Frank Samora, and baby sister, Sylvia Lopez, his mother, Luisa Aldaba, passed away three days after Chris, on August 15, 2023.
