Charles Rasmuson, age 67, a 20-year resident of Hale Center, passed away after a short illness on Friday, December 24, 2021. He was born in Japan to a military father who predeceased him on December 22, 2019.

Charles is survived by his close friend of 50+ years Robin; mother Norma; sisters Sharon and Linda (Tom); niece Kelli (Daniel); nephews James (Rachel), Matthew (Lauren) and Daniel; great-niece Eleanor; great-nephew Jamie. Charles's sense of humor, creativity, generosity and loyalty will be greatly missed.

Services will be held at 11am on Saturday January 15, 2022 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 901 Oakland in Plainview. Burial will be held at a later date in Albuquerque, NM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to St. Paul Lutheran Church, marked for the Building Fund.

Because of his faith and trust in Jesus, we are confident we will see Charles again in heaven as the Bible assures us in John 3:16: For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. Amen.
