Charles Ray Garcia, Jr., age 24 of Plainview, passed away on August 12, 2026, in Amarillo, Texas. Visitation and funeral service will be held at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at 4:00pm-8:00pm. Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 10:00am. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home in Plainview. 

Charles was born in Hale Center, Texas on August 23, 2001, to Charles Ray Garcia, Sr., and Elizabeth Martinez Garcia. He graduated from Plainview High School in 2019.

Charles enjoyed cooking and trying new foods. Towards the end of his life, Charles was attending church and was happy to have found God.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Joey Martinez, and his uncle, Ezequel Garcia.

Charles’ memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him and those who will carry his legacy, his two sons, six-year-old Ezequel and four-year-old Elizio Garcia of Plainview; his parents, Charles Sr. and Elizabeth Garcia of Plainview, his brother, Andrew Garcia and three sisters, Brittanae Ortiz, Anastasia Ramirez, both of Plainview, and Annacida Billiot of Amarillo; his grandparents, Mike and Dora Ponce of Plainview, and Saul and Charlotte Otero of Amarillo.
