Celia Grimaldo, 79 of Plainview, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2019. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for 10 o' clock in the morning on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Bill Anton celebrating. Interment will follow in Plainview Cemetery. A Rosary will be recited at 6 o' clock in the evening on Friday at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Celia was born on October 21, 1940 to Antonio and Anselma Martinez in San Pablo, Mexico. She was a loving homemaker all her life and cherished being with her family. Celia was married to Ventura Grimaldo and he gave her many happy years together. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother: Juan Martinez.

Celia is survived by her husband Ventura of Plainview; two brothers: Trino and Unifacio Martinez; two sisters: San Juana and Miercjalda Martinez and numerous grandchildren.
