Carmen Lopez, 84 of Plainview, passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2020. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Plainview Cemetery with Father George Poonely officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Carmen was born on July 16, 1936 in McAllen, Texas to George and Hortencia (Guerra) Quintero. She married Jesus Lopez in 1955 in Spade, Texas. Carmen enjoyed cooking, crafts, sewing and embroidering. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Carmen is survived by one son, Larry Lopez of Hereford; three brothers, Cruz Quintero of Dimmitt, Bobby Quintero of Hale Center and Ray Quintero of Moriarty, N.M.; two sisters, Tommie Crowder of Dallas and Janie Hernandez of Plainview; three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband; two daughters, Delia Aguirre and Evangelina Lopez; both parents and three brothers.
