A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 14, 2016 at Trinity Life Church in Plainview Texas with Pastor David Patrick officiating. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, March 13, 2016 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Lemons Funeral Home.

Caleb was born on December 2, 1992 in Lockney, Texas to Joe Calvin Sims and Nicole Reeves. He was raised in Plainview by his grandparents, Randell and Lois Reeves. Caleb was an avid musician. He loved playing the electric guitar, the bass guitar and at one point in his life, he played the violin. He spent several years working with the youth at Trinity Church. He loved being part of the Worship Team with the youth band at The Church. He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. His most cherished accomplishment was serving in the Texas National Guard.

Survivors include his mother, Nicole Reeves; his father, Joe Sims; his grandparents, Randell and Lois Reeves; one aunt, Angela Brown and two cousins, Gabriella Clayton and Makayla Clayton; grandmother Randa Jester and great grandmother, Doris Srader. He is also survived by his step-mother, Julie Reeves, step-sister, Anestacia Lopez and step-brother, Angel Ramos.
