Butch Rushing, age 70, of Lubbock, TX. passed away on November 20, 2014 in Lubbock, TX. at his home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00P.M., Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at the Lemons Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Gardens. Services under the personal care of Lemons Funeral Home.
Butch Rushing was born on March 3, 1944 to Leonard and Pauline (Bilberry) Rushing in Vernon, Texas. He married Alice Cole in 1966 in Plainview. She preceded him in death in 2009. Butch worked in the construction field.

He loved the lord and visiting with his friends, especially at coffee shops.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Rushing and his parents.
Butch is survived by his sons; James Rushing, Kevin Rushing and Chad Rushing, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
