Burlyn C. Vinson, age 90, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2023, in Plainview. A Graveside Service, officiated by Virgil Lowery, will be at 2:00pm, Monday, April 3, 2023, in Plainview Memorial Park. Service arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Burlyn was born on May 19, 1932, in Liberty, Texas to John Henry Vinson and Ora Isaac Vinson. He married Juanita Rose Keen in Clovis, New Mexico, and she passed away on November 30, 2010.

Mr. Vinson worked as a bricklayer from the age of 13 years old until he was 87 years old. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness and he enjoyed attending meetings and going to services.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Rose Vinson.

Mr. Vinson is survived by his son, Carl Vinson of Plainview; his two daughters: Lou Ann Crisp and Kristie Mitchell, both of Plainview; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
